I remember the first time I got into passive income blogging. I thought it was untrue. I thought it was just a waste of time, but I love talking about League of Legends. I’m a big League of Legends fan. I eat, sleep and think League of Legends all the time so I thought it was a nice fit. I was coming up with all sorts of cheats, insider guides. I was walking people through using video. I was doing the whole League of Legends thing. It was a lifestyle to me.
Well, it turned out that I could actually make money off it because I’m not the only one who was looking for cheats, tips and tricks. When I put up this information, I get a lot of traffic from Google, and people were clicking my ads.
I then wised up to the fact that I actually had a lot of advice so I created my own book and instead of settling for five cents per click from AdSense, I was selling my book for twenty-five bucks a pop. Believe it or not I was able to make twenty-five thousand dollars per month during the heaviest periods of my fairly new passive income blogging experience.
I’m sharing this with you not to brag. Instead, I’m sharing this with you to highlight the fact that it takes a lot of work to build a very successful blogging empire. It is no joke.
I know there are a lot of people making it all sound easy. Be very careful of these people because they’re actually scammers. That’s what they’re doing. Seriously. What they’re really trying to do is separate you from your hard-earned money because what they are trying to sell is not the actual reality of passive income blogging. Far from it. What they’re selling is a fantasy.
You have to understand that something will never come from nothing. What I’m trying to say is that you have to put in the work, and part of the work means trying, failing, trying, failing, trying, failing, and keeping at it until you learned the lesson and then you move up to the next level.
This is what separates people who succeed and people who just see dollar signs, get all excited, jump in with both feet and they get burned again and again.
I’ve seen happen all the time. People get all excited, and they put in all sorts of time, effort, money and emotional energy into online passive income blogging only to end up with very little to show for all of that investment.
However, if you are able to make it happen because you are able to sacrifice, do yourself a big favor, build your empire on the rock-solid foundation of consistency. This means that you don’t burn out. This means that you stay in the game, you stay engaged and you stay focused.
How do you do this? Learn to say no. People all over will basically ask all sorts of favors. They’ll probably try to dictate, outsource or tell you what to do. Whatever the case may be learn to say no.
Also, learn to have some sort of diversion or hobby. Personally, I got a Swegway hoverboard, and I would ride it for about an hour or two hours a day. When I’m knee-deep into the details of my blogs and trying to brainstorm new ways of taking them to the next level and crushing my competitors, I take a break because you’re most creative when you give your brain enough time to rest.
Make no mistake about it when you’re on a Swegway hoverboard, and you’re just enjoying the view, and it feels like you’re floating on air, your emotional, creative and imaginative batteries start to recharge.
Do yourself a big favor. Stop running on empty as far as your passion and creativity are concerned. Don’t run on fumes.
Give yourself the necessary breaks that you need. Maybe you should plaint. Perhaps you should sing. Maybe you should read poetry. Do whatever it takes to get the recharge that you need.
Personally, I love to ride my Swegway. Maybe you would too.
