We offer a variety of international shipping options designed to assure reliable delivery at a reasonable cost.

UPS . For shipments outside the continental US, standard delivery is by UPS. Delivery is usually in 3-5 business days (absent delay in customs clearance) and each shipment is fully trackable in the UPS system. Our Standard International UPS charge is $35, but the destination country or the size and weight of the package often result in a higher shipping cost. You will be notified prior to shipment if additional charges are necessary and you will have the opportunity to approve the charges or cancel the order.

Access USA Forwarding Service. We have partnered with Access USA, a leading international mail forwarder, to provide substantial savings on our international shipments to Access USA members. For international customers that foresee making either large or repeated purchases from US companies, the resulting savings in shipping costs often more than offset the annual cost of Access USA membership.

Access USA members are provided a US street address that is used to receive mail and merchandise from US shippers. Access USA receives merchandise, repackages & consolidates it with other purchases and forwards it to the member's country of origin. In this way members benefit from Access USA's negotiated pricing with DHL and FedEx International, which is materially below our regular international shipping rates. To take advantage of the cost savings from Access USA membership, you must first become an Access USA member and then place your order with Laptop Travel. You will pay only our domestic shipping rates, and Access USA's rate calculator will tell you what the additional international shipping cost will be. The weights of most of our products are shown on the product page; add one pound (.45 kg) for additional packaging cost to calculate the total shipment weight.

Canadian Orders. We ship to our Canadian customers via UPS. Express service takes 2 - 3 days and is priced at $35. Standard service takes 7 - 10 days and is priced at $15. Duty and tax are not included in these prices and are the responsibility of the customer. PLEASE NOTE that UPS imposes an additional brokerage fee for customs clearance on standard shipping orders. This fee varies based on the product(s) being delivered in Canada but can be significant and is also the customer's responsibility.

APO and FPO Addresses. We ship internationally to PO boxes only for US Postal Service shipments to APO and FPO addresses. We cannot be responsible for late deliveries or package loss or theft on such shipments.

Duties and Taxes. Recipients of international orders are responsible for local import duties and taxes, if any. We declare the total value of items purchased (excluding shipping costs) for customs purposes. Please note that we do not calculate or estimate these local charges and that they can be significant in relation to the value of your order.

Shipping Times. Although we generally ship the same day we receive an order, there are often slight delays on international orders to clarify credit card issues or to obtain authorization for higher shipping costs. We do not ship on holidays or weekends so orders received shortly before a holiday or weekend will not ship until the first business day following. We request your phone number, e-mail address and/or fax number so we can contact you with questions about your order.

Delivery Delays. PLEASE NOTE that we cannot be responsible for delays in delivery caused by bad weather, carrier error, customs or administrative clearances or other causes beyond our control and do not refund shipping charges in case of such delays.
